How we work

Five steps from a first conversation to someone in the seat.

Every engagement runs the same way, in the same order. It opens with a fifteen-minute call and it ends with a professional doing the work — and nothing in between is a form to fill in.

The sequence

Five steps, in order.

Steps one to three cost nothing and commit you to nothing. The work only starts at step five.

  1. 01

    Intro call

A complimentary 15-minute conversation about your business and what you need.

Fifteen minutes, at no cost, and a conversation rather than a pitch. We ask what the week actually looks like, which parts of it are yours by choice and which are simply left over, and what has already been tried. Most of what we need in order to place someone well comes out of that first call.

  2. 02

    Fit assessment

We assess the role, the expectations and the working environment.

Then we look at the role as it will really be worked: the hours it has to cover, the systems it touches, who the person reports to and how much direction they can expect in their first month. This is the step that decides whether a placement holds, because a well-qualified professional in the wrong seat helps nobody.

  3. 03

    Service recommendation

We identify the support level that actually matches the work.

We then say which of the three levels the work needs, and why. If the honest answer is the smallest one, that is the answer you get — a business that outgrows Nira Focus in four months is a better outcome for everyone than one paying for hours it cannot fill.

  4. 04

    Talent matching

We match your requirements to suitable professionals from our vetted network.

Professionals in the Nira network are assessed for experience, communication, reliability and role fit before they are put forward for anything. Matching runs against the role described in step two rather than against a generic job title, so what you see is people who could do this particular job — not a directory to search through yourself.

  5. 05

    Agreement & onboarding

Once terms are agreed, Nira coordinates onboarding and integration.

Scope, hours and terms are agreed in writing before anyone starts. Nira then coordinates the introduction and the first weeks of working together — access, tools, working hours and the handover of the first tasks — so the engagement opens with a plan rather than with a stranger and an empty inbox.

Step two, in detail

The role is assessed as carefully as the person.

Every professional is assessed for experience, communication, reliability and role fit before they are put forward for anything. The less obvious half is that we assess the other side of the arrangement too — the role, the hours it covers, the systems it touches and how much direction the person can expect at the start.

A role that has never been written down is the most common thing we find on that first call, and it is worth an hour of anyone’s time to fix before a person is attached to it. Written down together, it becomes the thing the match is made against.

In the professional

  • Experience in the actual work, not the job title
  • Written and spoken communication
  • Reliability and follow-through
  • Fit for the role as it has been described

In the role

  • The hours it has to cover, and in whose day
  • The systems and tools it touches
  • Who the person reports to, and how often
  • How much direction to expect in month one

Step three

Which level the work lands on.

  • 15 hrs / week

    Nira Focus

Focused support. More time for what matters.

Founders and professionals who need consistent administrative support without a full-time commitment.

  • 30 hrs / week

    Nira Elevate

More support. More capacity to grow.

Growing businesses that need deeper support across administration, clients, systems and daily operations.

  • 40 hrs / week

    Nira Signature

    Dedicated support. Seamlessly integrated.

Executives and established businesses requiring a dedicated professional who becomes an extension of the team.

From $10/hour. The recommendation happens on the intro call, once we understand the work. Nothing is committed to before that, and a business can move between levels as the work grows.

Step one

It starts with fifteen minutes.

No cost, no obligation, and a straight recommendation at the end of it. Or write it down instead, if that suits you better.
